Lead user research in Kenya to evaluate use of citizen reporting and mobile data collection during contested elections. Field work took place in Nairobi and included implementing system usability survey and 21 interviews with a range of stakeholders in complex settings and fulfilling role as official electoral observer for the IEBC.  Research contributed to 64 bug fixes, 1 major features update, and refactor changes and led to the integration of machine learning and natural language processing services for the COMRADES platform.
