FIEPER - Field Operator Robot


A field operator robot, which can operate valves, and switches and do some basic operations using a robotic arm.
  •  Fabricated this robot in Pune and then deployed vision systems, and control units in SGGS.
  •  Used SSD algorithm for object detection and OpenCV for image processing.
  •  Optical Character Recognition(OCR) for reading digital values using the Tesseract engine.
  •  Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Jetson Nano, Raspberry Pi and DC motors.

Conclusion:
  1.  Fieper will be deployed and used in the manufacturing industry after adding some more features like fire detection, flare analysis .etc
