How can recruiters' connection invites be revoked?
Those who are searching for a job will most likely want to connect with recruiters on LinkedIn. They send out a large number of invitations and then forget who they invited.
Here is what you should:
- Click on the MY NETWORK tab from the top menu bar on LinkedIn
- On the next page, click on MANAGE button from top right side
- Now click on SENT under Manage Invitations
You can withdraw the invitations and resend them. If an invitation is not accepted after two weeks, I usually advise withdrawing it and sending it again.
Recruiters, as much as they would like to engage with and assist job searchers, are preoccupied with their own duties. As a result, their hectic schedules may prevent them from filtering the invitations.
Therefore, take time out every two weeks and go back to manage the invitations. Set a calendar reminder on your mobile!
