Do you believe that stating nationality or requesting a certain gender in a job description represents discrimination?

I am quite liberal and believe that while competing in an international market where organizations are from various locations may have preferences in recruiting employees.

The preference might be connected to linguistic skills, freedom to travel, employment quotas for other nationalities, knowledge of the company's origin and culture, and so on ...

The point is, you can always do research on the company, the role, and how you can position yourself as the best candidate. The win is always in trying!
