For the past few months, I have decided to switch up my email sign-offs by adding a simple ":)" after my name. Initially, it may seem like a minor change, but I quickly realized that it has made a significant impact on how my messages are received. 😎

You see, emails can often come off as dry and boring in their text-only format, lacking any real emotions or sentiments. But with the addition of an emoji or symbol like ':)', it adds personality and warmth to the message.

It creates a connection between myself and the recipient, showing them that there is more than just business being discussed here - there is also conversation and hopefully some level of rapport building.

Of course, I understand that certain situations call for more traditional sign-offs such as "kind regards" or "best regards." Still yet when you've built up somewhat of an informal relationship with someone through email communication then 'Sohaib :)' seems fitting enough.

However, in less formal interactions where we have established trust and understanding with one another would benefit from this kind of personal touch.

So what do you think? 😉
