Through a vigorous selection process I was appointed the position of International Study Group Leader. My role is to mentor International Students who I met in China at their Sino-British college in Shanghai. I run weekly sessions with my students to discuss any academic issues they may have also we discuss social aspects of university life by showing them what Societies the university has to offer to inviting them social events such as fireworks night or to have a Sunday roast. The purpose of my actions is to integrate them into the university and ensure the cultural transition from China to the UK is as smooth as possible.
