China Ambassador (Education)

I was selected to represent and market Leeds University Business School in China. After a vigorous selection process my University and International Student Recruitment Team, selected and paid for me to take part in an “in-country” visit to a LUBS priority market, China. As a China Ambassador I was responsible for ensuring that prospective students from China received the information and advice they required for preparation and admission to the School’s taught programmes. As a China Ambassador my main responsibilities include: - Visiting international schools to meet with, and answer the questions of prospective Chinese students. Meeting students and academic staff at the Sino-British College in Shanghai and The WTO Wuhan University. - Delivering presentations on academic and social life at the University of Leeds to prospective students. - I currently mentor those successful applications that I met in China. I carry out International Study Group sessions to provide further academic and extra-curricular guidance. - I also deliver career development and CV sessions to Chinese students to help them be competitive in the UK labour market.
