In a region where Artistes disregard the the purpose of legal services concerning contracts they append their signatures to ,we are trying our best to ensure artistes are able understand contract terms and renegotiate any draconian terms outlined in such agreements. Was part of a team that Negotiated a single deal between Black Sherif and a major distributor which included the Second Sermon Remix featuring Burna Boy. Later we had negotiations with Burna Boy’s Counsel on royalty splits for the second Sermon remix and other essential requirements for both parties to reach a consensus ad Idem. Reviewed a publishing agreement between “Black Sherif” and a publishing company based in the UK to review the terms laid out by the publisher and outlined the terms for renegotiation until it was signed by both parties
