Defined a Product Strategy


As a product manager consultant, one of my key responsibilities is to enable and empower my team to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs. Recently, I had the opportunity to lead four junior product managers and their development teams through product enablement practice workshops and pairing sessions. These sessions were focused on aligning strategic business outcomes with cloud-native platform and application technical outcomes. By working together, we were able to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to drive success. One of the major outcomes of this effort was the development of an application that delivered portfolio level management tools. This tool allowed us to measure and report on portfolio status, health, and performance, solving a major problem across 2 Department of Defense software factories. In addition to this, I also designed, developed, and deployed a software development enablement practice program for 3 Department of Defense Program Offices. By providing these resources and guidance, I was able to help our team improve their skills and drive success across the board. Overall, this experience was incredibly rewarding. It's always a pleasure to work with other talented professionals and to see the impact that our efforts can have on the success of the Department of Defense.
