I've got a full-stack hobby project to help me better understand how to build distributed applications using APIs and modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js in this case).  The idea is to produce a simple card catalog site for a library. 

In addition to providing the experience of wiring different components together, it also provides me a space to think through user experiences and all the technologies involved.  Today I started scoping out what kinds of user-specific notifications I want to provide.  I'm making use of the VS Code extension Dendron to produce a wiki of this documentation here
