As a member of the UCS Campus Life Subcommittee on Athletics at Brown, I have spent much time advocating for the interests of my fellow student-athletes. More specifically, I have collected testimonials from both coaches and athletes on their experiences at Brown, worked alongside deans, professors, and athletic directors to identify priorities and issues within the athletic department, and led efforts to establish policies concerning discrimination within Brown Athletics. I am currently in the process of drafting policies regarding racism and gender-based discrimination to be presented to our new athletic director!
