Crisis Management - IT

I needed to organize effective coordination among the departments (IT Ops, Development, Help-desk) to overcome the outages.
It contained almost daily communication with the upper management. I needed to totally reorganize the IT Operation team which contained hiring new people.
During this time I needed to coordinate the teams to find the route cause of the problems.
It was necessary to maintain a list of contingency plans and to be always on alert.
This crisis was a sudden crisis that occurred without warning and beyond any departments’ control, although during that crisis there were some leadership changes that needed to handle by me (with top management approvals).
