IT OPS Consolidation and cost reduction

Strategic use of IT enables the delivery of critical services to constituents in a better, faster, and cheaper manner than would otherwise be possible.

As business demand for IT continues to rise and budgets are reduced, IT consolidation and cost reduction have helped meet constituent needs.
The original team has been replaced by a senior and expert team. The team has been reorganized and worked closely with the SQA Team. The existing infrastructure has been architecturally altered. With this architectural change, the reduced the cost of the infrastructure. IT Expenses reduced by using LTS based and open-source tools and Operation Systems. With this change, the IT OPS has been reduced the license costs. Renegotiated our telecom and infrastructure suppliers' contracts to reach more favorable contracts. The internal infrastructure has been reorganized into virtualization, so I was able to reduce the number of servers, and the amount of heat/cooling and power costs. The old IT Ops strategy has been re-worked based on the new human resources and the growth trends and factors
