Hey there, I'm Szonja. 👋🏽

I work as a 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒓𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒓 at a terrific software company.

I am super passionate about recruitment because this is the only field that combines sales, marketing, customer service and a bunch of other disciplines. And what else do you need to have the most fulfilling job in the world?

I get energised by great interviews with ambitious candidates, by educating fresh hiring managers on interviewing and by creating -mainly sarcastic- videos to boost our brand awareness.

I realised at the beginning of my career that candidates are sadly not treated well by most of the recruiters - and that's why 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.


Besides my job, I am a 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒓 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒓. I offer career advisory services to job seekers (consultation, resume review, LinkedIn profile makeover, interview prep). It started as a hobby but I love every minute I spend with applicants who are eager to land their dream job, so in no time it turned into my other passion.

Probably, this is a good time to mention that my third passion is red wine. 🍷
