We assume that the humans have the best form of intelligence. By default, we define intelligence by how our minds and thought processes work. But we need to open our minds to the possibility of a different type of intelligence. The type we do not know or possess, and that may outdo us in ways we can’t imagine yet. Can machines be intelligent in the way humans are? Maybe.. Can they be more and different kind of intelligent? Arguably, they already are!

I believe that we won’t know whether machines have developed some kind of consciousness until it’s too late. Probably because machines themselves will take time to know the fact. The question to ponder upon is, do we know what we are going to do when it happens?
