I wrote an article about testing Functional Web Apps where I compared some popular tools and how they work in a serverless stack. It's important to keep the execution environment clean and fast. What ended up being more important than I thought initially: disk space. Can't be shipping huge libraries to the build/test pipeline if they run in a Lambda.
