I finally started reading Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari. It's early days yet, but so far it's fascinating. I haven't ever considered the effect of our ability to believe in fiction (like laws and corporations) on our societal development. And I hadn't heard about the cognitive revolution before. I look forward to learning more!
