Wrote a play
Won a Writing Competition
After being inspired by the film 1917 (which I watched at least partially because it was extra credit for AP Euro),  and prompted by the Grand Theatre's announcement of a Playwriting Competition, I decided to write a play based on an inkling of an idea I had had in my mind for a while.

Mending Life is a 10-minute play set in WW1 following a British soldier, Lee, who comes across Erich, an injured German solider, and decides to help him.  But when Lee's platoon finds him, ideals clash as Lee protests for Erich's life.

Out of over dozens of 10-minute play submissions from across the region and even the nation, somehow mine came out in the top 5 winners!

These plays will be staged sometime in the future. So excited about my big 10-minute break in the playwriting biz!
