Sometimes only focusing on the positive can have the opposite effect of what we want when scaling initiatives. It can be hard to convince others you need help when an initiative is running smoothly and creating value.

This all stems from a more significant issue of untrusted metrics around work that impacts the company. Most developer-focused jobs that fall under the Developer Experience umbrella (devrel, education, community) are newer departments of an organization and don't yet have the trusted metrics needed to avoid having to provide proof of impact.
