THE ASK

Implement a new EMR system for a client’s practice with no downtime to operations or staff as they were still open during COVID.

THE POINT
To use cloud based software that would save time for practitioners and front desk staff alike, automate certain features to make it easier to keep track of and communicate with clients, provide detailed reports, and integrate with current operations.

WHAT WAS DONE
- researched various options and presented recommendation to client
- confirmed with the governing body that the chosen software was compliant with Ontario’s privacy laws
- set up and configured the account including all messaging and branding, reporting parameters, product inventory, services for billing, and staff profiles
- onboarded all staff
- supervised the transition of 10k patient records (a mix of data entry and importing CSV files)
