During the pandemic, I have been searching for perspective and I have been yearning to be with others and feel amazed together.

I found perspective by studying physics. A high-school dropout who went on to Stanford but flunked the only physics course I took and majored in drama instead, I have no formal science background.  Lucky for me, some of the smartest physicists in our species (Richard Feynman, Carlo Rovelli, even Einstein) took the time and trouble to write really great books and letters and lectures and papers about all of it. It turns out, that if you read them, they make sense. At least they do by the 3rd or 4th time through.

When I learn from these books, I feel amazed. And SHOCKED. Are you kidding me with these facts? This changes everything!

To create a space where we can feel amazed (and maybe a little shocked) with each other, I am building a one-person show to do in people's homes and yards. It is about physics and what really scientifically happens in and around our actual human bodies when we are near each other. It is an experience of trying to understand that, to see that, together, and it is also really a comedy because the universe is quite ridiculous.

It is the kind of live event I really want to be at when it is safe to gather in person, and the only way to be sure I will get invited is to be the person who makes it happen.

If you know a lot about physics, or know nothing (like I did) and want to know where to start learning, or if you might want to come to or host a showing of the live piece in the SF Bay Area sometime around probably Spring 2022 (I think it will be for small audiences, maybe 10 people per viewing?), maybe we can chat!
