Joined Teacher Centric Ltd as Head of Engineering !
It started with taking over from a great Ruby contractor and then we built a better product that scaled over 20000 RPM at peak time (from 1500 RPM when I joined).
So many things done :
- moved to AWS with a step through Brightbox cloud (from their Rails hosting)
- moved from 2 servers to auto scaled fleets
- hired a team of 8
- supported customer service through on-boarding and setups
