š Launched disbots.gg, my first full-stack website
I launched my first full-stack web application - a Discord bot listing site. In early 2020, I noticed how underdeveloped the Discord bot listing space was - there was a lot of room for innovation and profit.
In June 2020, I began developing disbots.gg, a Discord bot listing site with many new features, phenomenal UI design and a great community behind it. As a Python-only developer, I took this as an opportunity to learn Javascript/Express and Vue.
After a few months of development, I established a team of developers and moderators to help with the site. We created an extremely fast and intuitive verification system to keep up the quality of bots on our site but still go through applications in under 12 hours from onboarding.
In under a week from site launch -
- we grew to a community of almost 300 people
- showcased a network of almost 100 unique bots
& released a public Discord bot integrationĀ
