Spoke on a webinar
I presented at Design Thinking Zeal, showing insights from my Human-Computer Interaction Design masters research project into how unequal outcomes or misunderstandings occur with voice assistants due to accent.

My interest was to explore sociolect (social dialects) and the ways in which these intersect with race and class, before questioning how default or standard voices are constructed.

A recording of the webinar is on YouTube (unlisted). My section starts at 27:30.
