Accepted in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP)
Sharing videogames experiences

Virtual IVLP Video Games for STEAM and Entrepreneurship 🎮

I got accepted in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), a cultural exchange program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. I'll be participating in a new IVLP program that focuses on how videogames, e-sports and the gaming industry can promote social changes and advances in our education systems.

This year the program will be an all-digital engagement, where people from all around the globe will be able to discuss their passion for videogames with some of the most important people in the scene.

I'll be posting more about the program in the next few weeks!

My own digital gallery

After this pic that I took of the Venezuelan coast went viral, I decided to open my own digital gallery using Darkroom.

I'm not a photographer, but I thought this was a fun way to share things that I like and special moments.

📸 Check my gallery and order a print!:

Finished an ethics course

Responsible Innovation: Ethics, Safety and Technology

Last trimester I took an elective ethics course at my university given by Prof. Alejandro Teruel. The lectures focused on responsible innovations and the importance of ethics in a technological context, giving a philosophical insight to computer science projects.

The class followed a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) from Delft University that can be found on edX.

Caracas Game Jam 2021

This year I was the lead organizer of the Caracas Game Jam, an annual event that is part of the Global Game Jam. For the first time we hosted an online game jam due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Alongside Caracas, there were other 3 official jam locations in Venezuela: Maracay, Lara and Maracaibo.

In this edition we had over 60 participants that created 20 games. Check out all the games that were made during the jam through the official website and the CGJ YouTube channel.
