Commemorating its 5th anniversary, Komunitas Penulis Asuransi Indonesia (KUPASI) collaborated with Asosiasi Asuransi Syariah Indonesia (AASI)  to hold a one-day seminar entitled “Dua Dekade Asuransi Syariah: Di mana dan Mau Ke mana?” on January 25, 2018, in Jakarta. This event was the first comprehensive seminar on sharia insurance that raised almost all financial perspectives, from investment, regulation, marketing to technology.

The last session with the theme of Innovation and Technology, attended by three speakers, namely Fitri Hartati, discussing the causes of undeveloped Products and Marketing, Zaenal M Falah regarding Coordination of Sharia Insurance Benefits with Mikrotakaful, and Valent Mustamin discussing Technology Disruption in Sharia Insurance.
