Took a diversion from desk research to help out a PR firm that needed a bit of qual analysis and social listening. Seeing as I was doing social listening before it was even called that, back in the mid-2000s, it was fun to see how others do it, noting that little has changed apart from the speed. Even with the greatest algorithms, tools like Talkwalker still have difficulty weeding out the spam.
