Unpopular Opinion about university life:

Although 100% attendance is not as important as developing learning habits, grades are always important (sad truth). The struggle during masters and PhD admissions is way smaller with great grades.

Working diligently on assignments develops a habit of problem solving and applying concepts. Of course the whole college life shouldn’t be about studies, but ignoring those for “explorations” is never good.
One can explore life while studying well (that’s how life works later on anyways). A healthy balance is the best :)
