I am passionate about React, Motion Design and accessible design.
With a background in UX design, I am enthusiastic about making enticing apps that are comfortable to use for everyone, regardless of how they perceive or navigate the content.
Accessibility is frequently given its own chapter in books about frontend engineering. This method of teaching is inherently flawed as it implies that accessibility as an addition to design. Accessibility is at the core of good development and must be included alongside any other teaching of design.
Web Development
I began exploring Node when I was fourteen years old. While redesigning the website of the cafe where I worked, I moved between various HTML templating frameworks trying to find the one that connected with me.
I finally found React, which sent me down a rabbit-hole of Node development that lead to the creation of my NPM package Enumer8 (bringing Swift-like enumerations to Javascript) and seeded my future career in web development.
What I do
My relationship with React continues to this day. While React and Javascript will always be my home, I find comfort anywhere across the stack. I adore CSS, Typescript, SVGs, and animation.
