Over the holiday I finished Kill It with Fire: Manage Aging Computer Systems, which was a very insightful read, especially since I have been working with a legacy JS system for the last few months at work.
It pushed me to think critically about my plans to fully rebuild the system using modern JS tooling, and to look at other options, such as gradual refactoring or splitting parts of the system, first.
