I thrive on forming strong relationships with key teammates, understanding team dynamics, and leveraging insights gained to build amazing teams. I love recognizing the unique and diverse talents in each team member and helping design a plan to ensure both their personal success as well as the success of the organization. Above all, I love mentoring those whom work with with me and watching them grow. I'm a fan of trust, truth, authenticity, transparency, focus, and continuous feedback. Solving hard organizational and people problems pragmatically and authentically is my core competency.

As someone who has been enamored with technology from early youth, I am a lifetime technologist and would never be comfortable with that changing. I learned to use my extensive accumulated knowledge and affinity for technology to help guide analytically-driven product or business decisions, gain the technical respect of the staff that reports up through me, and guide or consult on cross-cutting technology strategies. I am voraciously curious, and I love to both learn and build new things, either by myself or through a team.

Engaging closely with both the product and customer has always felt natural for me. Technology alone doesn't solve human problems. Only when you thoughtfully and carefully craft a product iterated in the shadow of a real problem and with the involvement of those who live it can you build something truly great. As a leader, focusing on bringing this perspective to every member of the team has an outsized effect on the performance of your organization.
