I started running a workshop series at Wayfair around how to speak at conferences. I took a lot of the information that I learned in the speaking workshop from SkillsMatter and combined it with my own experience to create a five-week, 1 hour per week workshop series that spanned from ideation to presentation delivery, and everything in between.
I was really surprised by the amount of interest I got in these workshops. I had to turn a lot of people away at first because I wanted to keep the groups small. But I was able to run the workshop series four times while at Wayfair, each with awesome results! I was even able to run a super special week-long condensed version at Wayfair's Berlin office. There, I had another 4 groups of people.
