I started my career as an entrepreneur in the food industry. During the COVID lockdown, I went back to school and earned my degree in Design for User Experience. I work for Neza, LLC, a small UX agency focused on goal-oriented deliverables for startups looking to build their product with UX at the core. I conduct user research, build user task flows, develop empathy maps, and wireframe products all day every day. I communicate a lot despite being introverted and am very detailed in my work. I am a lifelong learner and have a thirst for knowledge and an unrelenting sense of curiosity. 

I have a strong love for typography, calligraphy, good espresso, and human connection. I discovered my interest in product design while building my business in the food industry over the past 11 years. I grew up in Amsterdam, Italy, and India then moved to the United States in 2007 and have lived in Colorado, New Mexico, and San Francisco. 

My entrepreneurial background has contributed to a valuable skill set that has provided me with the ability to overcome difficult business challenges and persevere. As an entrepreneur, I interacted with my customers and employees on a daily basis. This gave me the opportunity to ask questions that elicited important information, identified opportunities within my operations, and engage team members in proposing solutions that leveraged the insights learned. Today, as a Product designer, I apply these skills by collaborating with others, asking questions to deeply understand the people I'm working with and the people I'm designing for, uncovering opportunities, and bringing into fruition validated solutions that meet both business needs and human needs.

I credit the success of my 11 years of business experience to my strong leadership and collaboration skills - a vital component of building teams and creating a space for strong teamwork moving towards a common goal.
